Legislation is now in place that requires a duty of care on all employers to manage the asbestos within their buildings and public areas. City Insulation Contractors are fully qualified to MDHS100 in Surveying and Sampling of asbestos materials which is the legal requirement for all employers to put in place. In addition advice can be given on how the materials are managed to prevent future exposure to the workforce and any contravention of the Code of Practice.

TYPE 3

Before any refurbishment or demolition works are carried out it is a legal requirement to carry out a Type 3 Survey to identify all asbestos materials within the building. Advice can be given on how the materials should be protected or removed before the contract works.
